Ttans in total control at Canterbury


TAUNTON Titans chalked up their fifth victory in six matches in winning 24-12 away to Canterbury in National Two South.

It enabled them to stay third n the table but they are still 14 points adrift of second-placed Chinnor.
The gap between Titans and Chinnor opened up before Christmas and the Somerset side have not been able to make any impression on closing it since.
There was not a lot to choose between Canterbury and Titans in the first half with the away side leading 7-0 at the interval with a try by Dan Frost which was converted by Gary Kingdom.
Titans added to their lead with another try from Frost with Lewis Webb also scoring a five-pointer. Kingdom kicked both conversions and a penalty.
