Exeter signs off the season with a free drink and bet on May 12

EXETER Racecourse signs off the 2009-2010 season on Wednesday, May 12 and to celebrate what was overall a fantastic season, it is offering all racegoers who pre-book their tickets a free drink and a betting voucher courtesy of the tote.

Premier and grandstand tickets holders will be eligible with drinks available in the Martin Pipe and Romany King bars and in the Denman building. The tote voucher is £2 off a £5 flexi bet. Like many racecourses, Exeter was badly affected by the weather, but three exceptional days made up for the effects of the rain and frost. A spokesman said: 'We lost our flagship New Year 's Day meeting with a frozen course and then the rain took one of our March meetings but we had a fantastic Valentine's Day where out 2 for £10 offer as well as free Chococino chocolates meant we surpassed all previous records. Children's Day was a phenomenal success and we'll be building on that again next year and our ladies' night went above and beyond all expectations. 'So all in all it's been a great season, we've got some really great initiatives to further develop and the free drink and bet are a little thank you to all our racegoers.'
