Mike Parsons headed Division Two with 40 points, one ahead of second placed Gary Tillett who enjoyed the same advantage over third placed Brian Graham with 38.
Ed Winter posted an impressive 42 points to win Division Three by five from Dave Berryman with 37, while Alan Maidment was third with 36 (back9),
Sunday’s Colin Newton competition was won by AJ Parker who teamed up with Club Champion John Morgan and Mike Edwards to score 75.
Second spot went to James and Daniel Keitch and Dave Chesney with 73 but only after they squeezed ahead of third placed Toby Snelling, Rob Hodge and Roger Howard on countback.
Lee Lewis won this year’s Ronnie Mead Trophy with 47, three ahead of second placed Lin Brown with 44. Alan Harman was third with 43and Brian Graham fourth.
The Anniversary Shield that was competed for throughout the week went to Mike Saffin with 47, with John Morgan second on 44 (b9), A. Edwards was third also with 44 while David Pitman claimed fourth place with 43 after countback.
Mike Edwards claimed the Best Man’s prize with 42, Margaret Blackaller the Best Lady’s also with 42, AJ Parker the best Senior with 40, while Jake Cadby-Webber was the Best Junior.
Beryl Richards is the new Taunton Vale Lady Champion after winning the 36 hole competition last weekend with a best gross score of 169, two ahead of second placed Angie Warnes who carded 171.
Tina Morgan with 133 won the best nett card competition, three ahead of second placed Betty Norman with 136.
Jane Harris, who recently joined the Vale from Cannington lifted the Supporters Trophy with a nett score of 60. .
