Five hundred run in this year's Wellington Ten

Many of the West's top athletes will be among more than 500 runners taking part in the Wellington Ten on Sunday (July 11) (10.30).

They will be competing in two races - either ten miles or ten kilometres. The organisers are making it a fun day for all the family with music and barbeques on the go throughout the day at Wellington Rugby Club. All proceeds will go to the Albemarle Centre in Taunton. Runners in the 10k will include a large contingent from the local police station and town mayor Andrew Govier, who is raising money for the Aghan Heroes chairity. Registration closes at 10.00 on the day.
