Taunton held by Bristol City youngsters

TAUNTON Town drew 2-2 with a young Bristol City XI in a friendly at Wordsworth Drive tonight (July 28).

But it was Taunton's 17-year-old goalkeeper Connor Sidley-Adams who stole the show with four fine saves - two in each half. Taunton scored two splendid goals to go 2-0 up through Rodney Marsh (40 minutes) and Jamie Short (49). But City pulled a goal back in the 55th minute with a header from the impressive Liam Douglas and deservedly equalised through Luke Palmer in the 67th minute. Attendance: 266.
