After opting to bat first Taunton Deane were all out for 178 in 49.4 Joe Hewton making 50 and Ali Warren 31. The pick of the Saints attack were veteran leg spinner Kevin Sedgbeer taking 4 for 26 off his 11 overs, and Joe Wadham with 2 for 44.
Saint Andrew’s had reached 48 for 1 after 16 overs and eventually reached 181 for 3 in 46.4 to run out the victors by 7 wickets, with Robbie Contreras top scoring with 61, while opener Brian Hoyle batted throughout to remain unbeaten on 48.
For Taunton Deane, Patrick Thomas took 2 for 36.
Taunton entertained Corsham at Gipsy Lane, where after choosing to bat first the hosts were all out for 182 in 49 overs, with Jack Cooper making 68.
When Corsham batted they looked to be coasting to victory at 150 for 2 in 42 overs before they collapsed and in the end reached 184 for 8, wicket-keeper Steve Bullen remaining unbeaten on 64 after bating for 3 hous.
The pick of the Taunton bowlers was leg spinner Ben Orr who ended with 4 for 14
In the Bristol and Somerset Division third from the top hosted third from the bottom when Minehead played Stapleton.
Batting first the West Somerset side were all out for 158, of which Matt Drakely made 52, while for Stapleton, Chidgey took 4 for 31 and Chard 4 for 45.
When they batted the Bristol side were made to work hard for their runs, but in the end scored 160 for 8, Chidgey rounding off a good afternoon by scoring 40, while for the hosts opening bowler Steve Hayes ended with 4 for 47.
